Professor Andrew Smith PhD FRCP — Consultant Respiratory Physician

Professor Smith graduated with commendation in Medicine from the University of Glasgow in 1997 and trained in the West of Scotland and New Zealand. He is Consultant in Respiratory Medicine and Clinical Lead at University Hospital Wishaw, and leads the Severe Asthma Service in Lanarkshire. He is a Fellow and Senior Examiner at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow with a PhD in Respiratory Medicine, and has extensive experience in clinical research, leadership, and respiratory guideline development.
